Severe Flooding Hits Spain Again: After Valencia, Now Barcelona

Spain continues to be hit by severe storms. Following recent flooding in Valencia, Barcelona is now experiencing intense rainfall.

Together with the Competence Centre for Flood Prevention and Flood Risk Management (KHH) of the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry for Climate Protection, Energy and the Environment, the HKC is developing an interactive platform to encourage people to take precautions against heavy rainfall and flooding.

The highest weather warning level applies in 36 German districts. The reason: continuous rain, which is a consequence of ex-hurricane Kirk.
