The Flood Risk Assessment for Rhineland-Palatinate has been published.
The HKC has developed an information platform for the MLWUF aimed at citizens in Rhineland-Palatinate. The platform raises awareness of preventive measures to protect against flooding, expands knowledge, and supports citizens’ self-efficacy through self-preparedness.
Through an address search, the Flood Risk Check provides automated information and an assessment of a home’s vulnerability to flooding caused by heavy rain and high water. It also includes an interactive questionnaire on a home’s vulnerability. Based on the results, specific recommendations are provided for personal preparedness regarding property protection measures and appropriate behavior. Click here to access the Flood Risk Check.
