The Flood Competence Centre

About HKC e.V.

The HKC e.V. pursues non-profit objectives to promote science and research, as well as education, consulting and awareness-raising in all matters relating to flood and heavy rainfall risk management.

To implement this holistic approach, the HKC develops, shares and connects expertise at all levels: from universities and national and international institutions to municipalities, planning offices, manufacturers of protective materials, and people directly affected, as well as citizens’ initiatives.
