The free educational and activity week focused on water and climate issues for Hamburg students will take place from September 21 to October 2, 2026.
Now in its twelfth year, Wetter.Wasser.Waterkant. offers all Hamburg schools a free educational week program focusing on the topics of climate, sustainability, and social transformation processes.
Students of all ages will meet experts from academia, business, government agencies, and educational institutions at many exciting off-campus learning locations in HafenCity and throughout Hamburg. The event series is based on the principles and core elements of “Education for Sustainable Development” (ESD) and on Hamburg’s educational curricula.
In addition, a program for elementary school children will take place during the fall break as part of the after-school care program.
Elementary schools can register now; registration for secondary schools will open in August. Further information and the full program can be found at this link.
