On 8 April 2025, the municipality of Kürten is holding an information event on heavy rain prevention in the community centre. The North Rhine-Westphalia Consumer Advice Centre will give a presentation explaining measures to protect homes in the event of heavy rainfall. A ‘market of opportunities’ will take place before and after the lecture, where various players from the fields of climate adaptation, disaster prevention and civil protection will be available for discussions at information stands.
