The highest weather warning level applies in 36 German districts. The reason: continuous rain, which is a consequence of ex-hurricane Kirk.
Ex-hurricane Kirk has reached Europe and is causing dangerous weather conditions in parts of Germany. A red alert is in place in western Germany in particular due to severe storms and heavy rainfall. The population is urged to be vigilant and take precautions as there is a risk of flooding and storm damage. Kirk brings severe storms, which also cause turbulence in other regions of Europe.
