On the occasion of World Water Day, the UN Water Conference was again held in New York from March 22-24. In addition to a look at the current state, climate justice and perspectives for globally equitable, safe and sustainable water security, goals were also set for flood protection: By 2027, every person in the world should be protected by early warning systems against natural disasters.
