We are excited to present our latest projects – the Flood App for North Rhine-Westphalia and the interactive platform for Rhineland-Palatinate!
For North Rhine-Westphalia, the HKC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Homeland, Municipal Affairs, Building and Digitalization (MHKBD), the Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport (MUNV), and the Emschergenossenschaft and Lippeverband (EGLV), has developed the "Flood Check App." This app allows citizens to assess the flood risk for their homes by entering their address and provides protection measures.
At the same time, the HKC, together with the Competence Center for Flood Prevention Rhineland-Palatinate (KHH), is developing an interactive platform that informs about risks and provides concrete recommendations for action. Both projects aim to raise awareness of flood protection and promote individual preparedness.
